DAVIDSON BIDWELL-WAITE

My Partner, Edwin Waite, and I have been hosting Salon style performances in our home for the past 3 decades and at Grace Cathedral from 1995-2000. We have supported chamber ensembles, operatic and virtuoso single artists, and a variety of dance groups.
The Boards I have served on are: The SAGE Project (Standing Against Global Exploitation) as Board President; Trustees of Grace Cathedral; Clocktower Homeowners Association (current); SFDanceworks; and LEVYDance. I also chair the Interfaith Committee of the San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking under the auspices of the National Council of Jewish Women, NorCal Chapter.
I have served as a Deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of California since my ordination in 2007, serving at Transfiguration Episcopal in San Mateo for 7 years and as Diocesan Missioner to Haiti from 2014 to present. I serve as Assisting Clergy at Grace cathedral.
I retired in 2014 from Novartis Vaccines & Diagnostics, where I served as Associate Director of Strategic Procurement Partnerships. Prior to that I headed Campus Procurement for the Research Enterprise at UCSF (8 years), Director of Contract Services for PG&E’s Nuclear Division (14 years), and as an attorney with Tosta, Browning & Cincotta and SF Superior Court (3 years).
Education: BA Theological Studies 2006, JD (Admitted to California Bar in 1982), Masters in Public Administration and Bachelors in Psycholinguistics – University of California at Riverside (1970 and 1972).
I have been with my life Partner, Edwin Waite, since 1978, and we were legally married on the eve of our 30th anniversary in 2008.
